Nepes Selected as an “Eumseong County Distinguished Local Taxpayer”

Nepes, a semiconductor packaging and testing specialist (Co-CEOs Byung-Koo Lee and Chang-Woo Lee), announced that it was selected as a Corporate Distinguished Taxpayer at the Local Tax Distinguished Taxpayer Awards Ceremony held in the main conference hall of the Eumseong County Office on Thursday, July 2, and was presented with a commemorative plaque.
Hosted by the Eumseong County Office, the ceremony honored 12 individual taxpayers and 17 corporations that have contributed to strengthening local finances and revitalizing the regional economy through the faithful payment of local taxes. Nepes was recognized for its exemplary tax payment record and was named among the award recipients in the corporate category.
To foster an advanced tax-paying culture in which conscientious taxpayers are respected and rewarded, the Eumseong County Office continues to provide various incentives, including postponement of tax audits, preferential financial services, and cultural and medical benefits. The awards ceremony was organized as part of these ongoing efforts.
