On the 21st, nepes integrated World Vision’s Basic for Girls CSR program into a training course for newly promoted senior employees, aiming to create social value while strengthening capabilities for proactive workplace innovation.
Held at the Chungbuk National University Institute of Convergence Technology, the program involved 60 participants and was conducted under the theme “Re:act – Proactive Work Innovation.” It reframed the issue of menstrual hygiene shortages faced by girls in Africa as practical challenges requiring real-world solutions.
Participants handcrafted reusable cloth sanitary pads, reinforcing problem-solving skills based on the Re–Act framework and internalizing proactive execution capabilities. The items produced will be delivered to girls in African countries including Kenya, Tanzania, and Zambia, contributing to continued education and improved hygiene conditions, as well as long-term social value creation.
