■ Donates KRW 4 Million to Child Development Accounts (CDA) in Partnership with Green Umbrella
Jung-A Yang, Chungcheong Maeil Daily – nepes, a leading semiconductor backend processing company (Co-CEOs Byung-Koo Lee and Chang-Woo Lee), has stepped forward to support asset building for underprivileged children in the Cheongju area, helping them prepare for independent living in the future.
On August 31, nepes donated KRW 4 million to the Child Development Account (CDA) program in collaboration with the Chungbuk Regional Headquarters of Green Umbrella. The donation ceremony was held at Jikji Hall in Cheongju City Hall's temporary government building.
The fund consists of KRW 3 million contributed by nepes and an additional KRW 1 million provided by the Chungbuk Regional Headquarters of Green Umbrella. The donation will be used as the initial savings deposit for 100 children newly enrolled in the Child Development Account program.
