The Eumseong-gun Welfare Center for Persons with Disabilities (Director: Jeon Ho-chan), in collaboration with the EM Division of nepes, conducted a “Campaign to Promote Blood Donation Culture” to encourage community participation and promote blood donation as a regular practice.
The campaign was carried out using a mobile blood donation bus operated by the Hanmaeum Blood Center of the Korea Association of Occupational Health and was held at both the Welfare Center and the nepes EM Division’s Eumseong plant. Employees from the welfare center and executives and staff of the nepes EM Division actively participated, while the nepes EM Division’s Nanumi Club (Chair: Bang Ji-hyun) supported the campaign by preparing a prize-draw event to encourage participation.
A representative of the nepes EM Division stated that the campaign was meaningful as part of ongoing efforts to grow together with the local community, adding that nepes will continue social contribution activities and regular campaigns to promote interest in blood donation. The Eumseong-gun Welfare Center for Persons with Disabilities and nepes plan to further strengthen their cooperation through volunteer activities and campaigns to support persons with disabilities and promote community welfare.
