NEPES, GLOBAL TOP-TIER PARTNER

nepes held a commemorative event marking the 20th anniversary of its Music Classroom Program on Thursday, April 30, at the atrium of the Cheongju Campus 2. The event was organized as an opportunity to reflect on the program’s 20-year journey and its meaning, while sharing its future direction with employees.

The first part of the event featured a special music session under the theme “Growing Together Through Music.” It began with an introductory video presenting the teachers of the Music Classroom Program, highlighting stories of those who have been part of the program from its early days to the present. Current instructors, along with former teachers who previously led the program, took the stage together and performed three songs—“Butterfly,” “Our Dream,” and “A Beautiful Day in October.”

In the second part of the event, a storytelling video capturing the past 20 years of the Music Classroom Program was screened, followed by a presentation by Lee Sang-ho, Head of the Management Support Office. Lee noted that “the nepes Music Classroom Program has become a distinctive aspect of nepes’ organizational culture, attracting external interest as a benchmark case.” He added, “Looking ahead, nepes will prepare for the next 20 years by motivating voluntary participation from the MZ generation, selecting music that resonates across generations, and continuously improving the employee experience to drive positive change.”

A special moment of appreciation followed, during which a bouquet was presented to Professor Park Mi-kyung, who participated in the initial setup of the Music Classroom Program. Appreciation gifts were also given to the music instructors, expressing gratitude to those who have contributed to building the program together over the years. The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony celebrating the 20th anniversary, and all participants joined together to sing “The Song of Friendship.” It was a meaningful moment that reflected on two decades shared through music while reaffirming the program’s role as a lasting cultural asset and competitive strength of nepes.

Over the past 20 years, the nepes Music Classroom Program has served as a representative cultural initiative, connecting employees through music and fostering intergenerational understanding and communication. nepes plans to continue developing a people-centered organizational culture through the Music Classroom Program and a wide range of cultural activities.
