NEPES, GLOBAL TOP-TIER PARTNER

Mokryeong Comprehensive Social Welfare Center conducted a “Spring Fire Safety Support Project for Seniors Living Alone” on March 20 in partnership with nepes Semiconductor Division and the Cheongju Eastern Fire Station. The initiative aimed to enhance fire safety awareness and improve living conditions for elderly residents living alone in rural areas during the high-risk spring season.

A total of 24 participants, including nepes employees and fire officials, attended fire safety education and smoke detector installation training led by the fire station. Teams later visited 17 households in the Ochang and Ogeunjang areas to install smoke detectors and provide fire prevention guidance. The center plans to continue public-private cooperation to promote safer living environments for older adults.
