The nepes EM Division announced that on February 26, 2026, it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Hanmaeum Blood Center to promote blood‑donation initiatives aimed at sharing life. The agreement seeks to help stabilize the regional blood supply and establish a regular, employee‑participation‑based social‑contribution program. Under the MOU, nepes will conduct four blood‑donation drives each year—one per quarter.
Immediately following the signing, two blood‑donation buses visited three nepes sites—Ochang Iridos, the Cheongan Research Center, and the Eumseong Campus—where employees participated in on‑site donation activities. This rotating‑site format significantly improved accessibility, resulting in a high participation rate of 30% and demonstrating the organization’s strong commitment to action.
The nepes EM Division was officially recognized for excellence in social‑responsibility activities last year when it received certification under the “2025 Social Contribution Recognition Program.” Building on that achievement, the new MOU expands the company’s ESG initiatives and strengthens its efforts to carry out consistent and structured community‑focused social‑contribution activities.
Hong Seok‑jo, Team Leader of the EM Management Support Team, stated, “The nepes EM Division values a corporate culture in which all members grow together with the local community. This agreement and the blood‑donation activities represent meaningful action that directly saves lives and sends a strong message that our company continually fulfills its social responsibilities.” He added that the division will continue improving operational methods and support systems to make participation even more convenient, aiming to embed life‑sharing as a natural part of the company culture.
The nepes EM Division plans to further enhance the blood‑donation environment, strengthen cooperation across sites, and expand participation convenience so that blood‑donation activities become a core element of its organizational culture. The division also intends to continue activities that protect the safety and lives of the local community, reinforcing its ESG management centered on social value.
