nepes Lua Co., Ltd. announced on Thursday the 23rd that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dream With Ensemble, Korea’s first professional performing arts organization and social cooperative dedicated to musicians with developmental disabilities.
The agreement was established to create a stable foundation for the independence of artists with developmental disabilities, promote their cultural and artistic activities, and build a collaborative framework to improve public awareness and understanding of disabilities. The signing ceremony took place at nepes Cheongju Campus 2 in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, with Park Sang-gyu, Head of Business Operations Team at nepes, and Lee Ok-joo, CEO of Dream With Ensemble, in attendance.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will pursue various collaborative initiatives, including expanding performance opportunities for artists with developmental disabilities and supporting their continued participation in cultural and artistic activities. Prior to the MOU, Dream With Ensemble participated in nepes-hosted “Lunch Concerts” and “Special Recitals,” providing valuable professional stage experience for artists with developmental disabilities. nepes employees also had the opportunity to witness the musicians’ exceptional talent and capabilities firsthand, fostering greater understanding and empathy toward people with disabilities.

Founded under the slogan, “When prejudice closes its eyes, the heart listens to music,” Dream With Ensemble is a professional ensemble composed of musicians with developmental disabilities.
