■ Hands-On CSR Initiative Centered on Semiconductor Education
[Jungbu Maeil, Reporter Yang Jeong-a] nepes Co., Ltd. and nepes Cocofab Co., Ltd. continued their social contribution efforts by organizing a semiconductor experience program for local children.
On July 15, nepes (Co-CEOs Byeong-gu Lee and Chang-woo Lee) held the “nepes Science Class,” an experiential corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, at the Atrium of its Cheongju Campus 2 in collaboration with Mokryeong Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.
The program was attended by nine children from the Ochang area, including both immigrant-background and non-immigrant-background children, who participate in the welfare center’s “Dadaikseon” program. nepes employees were paired one-on-one with the children and accompanied them throughout the entire educational and hands-on learning experience.
