Nepes Cocofab Selected as a Global Best Practice and Award Winner at the UN’s ‘AI for Good’
Presented its case study and received the award in Geneva, Switzerland, on July 7, showcasing the excellence of Korean AI education to the world.
Nepes (Co-CEOs Byung-Koo Lee and Chang-Woo Lee), a leading advanced semiconductor company, announced that its AI digital education division, Cocofab, was selected as a global best practice and received the top award in its category at the United Nations-hosted “AI for Good” initiative.
AI for Good is a global platform that identifies and promotes innovative solutions that leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The initiative is organized through collaboration between the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and more than 50 UN partner agencies, with the Swiss government serving as a co-host.
Among the nine competition tracks, Nepes Cocofab entered Track 5: “Generative AI for Creativity, Education and Public Services,” which focuses on the application of generative AI in education and public services. Cocofab was recognized as the Category Winner, receiving the highest honor in the track.
